Starbuck in St-Petersburg

Starbucks will be opening finally in St. Petersburg at the end of autumn according to the newspaper “Vedomosti”. The American chain is most likely to appear in the Galleria shopping center, Piterland, and Mega Dybenko.

The company supposedly already signed a five-year lease, and the company is already looking for employees for its St. Petersburg branch. The menu does not just offer delicious types of coffee and coffee drinks, but also muffins, cakes, cheesecakes, pies, cookies, sandwiches, and salads. The Starbucks thermo cup is also a world known symbol for coffee drinkers, which will be available at these locations. The average check in Moscow is 300-400 rubles, which is expected to be the same in St. Petersburg.

Starbucks have more than 16,000 stores all around the world, and now, St. Petersburg is the latest addition to the Starbucks chain. Moscow already has 56 cafes around the Mega polis. Starbucks was supposed to come to St. Petersburg two times in the past, but both times the idea was shut down because of the great amount of competition in the city.
