Cruise ship Royal Princess

In May 2014, the city on the Neva will be visited by the Royal Princess cruise liner, which is the largest ship ever built by the Italian shipbuilder (Fincantieri (Monfalcone, Italy). The Royal Princess’s length is 1,083 feet, and it has 19 decks, 1,780 cabins, and even one of the biggest open-air cinemas in the world. The ship could dock in St. Petersburg and start to bring more luxury cruise liners to St. Petersburg.

 Royal Princess is the largest ship in the Princess Cruises fleet. To be able to host this ship, it was decided to extend the Seaport pier in St. Petersburg.

Already the passenger port of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" is looking for a company that could implement the task to extend the seaport.

The complexity of the project lies in the fact that in addition to the 330- meter ship Royal Princess, the pier must simultaneously be fixed to include another 294- meter long vessel.
