Ryanair from St. Petersburg

Ryanair will start cheap flights from St. Petersburg

The largest and perhaps most famous low-cost European airline Ryanair has finally received permission to fly from Russia. The company will launch the first scheduled flights from St. Petersburg in March 2014.

The Irish company will start to operate in Russia in March of the coming year. Ryanair offers low-cost transportation and received all the necessary permits and is ready to launch its first flight. In the second half of March 2014 Ryanair will launch regular flights between Dublin and St. Petersburg, as well as between Dublin and Moscow.

To date, the largest low-cost airline operates in 29 countries. 300 Boeing 737-800 aircrafts are responsible for 1,600 routes.

It should be noted that in May 2013 the company could not come to Russia because of the complicated bureaucratic situation, due to which Ryanair could not get permission to fly across the country or into Russian airspace at all.
