On the territory of the Peter and Paul Fortress there is a huge sculpture featuring a gigantic wooden rabbit lying on the grass. Florentijn Hofman erected the sculpture for the festival of contemporary art.

The festival "Contemporary Art in Traditional Museums", where modern Russian and foreign artists bring about the most interesting examples of contemporary art, is being held in St. Petersburg from September 14 to October 13.

This year, the project involves artists from Russia, Israel, Finland, USA, Holland and France. St. Petersburg can already see a number of interesting exhibitions, installations and performances in nine museums scattered around the city!
