In 2013, Sennaya Ploshad will begin to be remodeled. Recently, the city agreed on a draft for the reconstruction and remodeling of the square. The current station of Sennaya Ploshad will be demolished shortly and in its place, will be the Assumption Cathedral which was destroyed during the war in 1961. Public trams and better public transportation will be more efficient on the square. The general rebuilt of Sennaya Ploshad will take about 1.5 hectares of space. |
