Christmas Mystery Golden Key

New Year’s Eve in St. Petersburg is expecting a lot of celebrations. From 9:00 pm, part of Nevsky Prospekt (from Fontaka river to Palace Square) will become pedestrian. At 10:00 pm there will begin celebrations at Malaya Sadovaya,  Gostiny Dvor, and Malaya Konyushennaya. At 11 pm, a feast will begin on Palace Square, where a big bridge that will connect the old and New Year will usher the New Year in. Vendors on the streets will be selling hot drinks and pastries.

The light show will adorn the building of the old Stock Exchange, and will be repeated every hour from midnight to 5 am. The culmination of the holiday fireworks show will be held at 2 am on the Neva River.

The metro on New Year's Eve will be closed only for two hours, from 2.00 to 4.00.

From December 24th to the 29th, the SKK Arena will be having a New Year’s festival. Daily at 11:00, 2:00, and 5:00 pm, children can see the ice fairy tale “Christmas Mystery Golden Key”, in which the creators put together songs and stunts on skates.
