mini Libraries

Starting in September on transport stops, subways, and parks, there will be the mini libraries established in a new project around the city.  This project does not require an id or passport, just take a book, read it, and leave it at any other library in the city. Its fast and easy and the organizers hope that it will be a success. The idea is great, as millions of people use transport everyday and what is the best thing to do when on transport? Read! These open libraries are already quite popular in Europe. They first appeared in Austria, then in Germany and Switzerland. Let’s hope that St. Petersburg will be a success as well!
