VIII International Film Festival

From July 27th to August 3rd, St. Petersburg will be hosting the VIII International Film Festival on the beach at Peter and Paul Fortress. The event will be an open-air cinema, and the theme is called, “Around the world in one night.” On this day, the audience will wait for an art program, as well as a marathon of short films and cartoons that are being watched by the largest audiences in the world.

During this festival, viewers will be able to watch a bright collection of short films from around the world. Viewers will have a great opportunity to see great perspectives from those directors around the world, giving the viewers a great experience. Countries such as: France, Britain, Spain, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and Canada will be the film giants participating in the festival. Other countries such as: Cuba, Albania, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, and Kazakhstan, will be showing more “exotic” films. 

The evening program:

-Light music and DJs

-The “Around the world in one night” marathon of films

-Open-air café and elite beers from around the world

-Arcade and children’s games

-Capoeira shows and workshops

-Yoga on the sand with a master from India- Kerala

Entrance is 400 rubles, Children under 12 years old- free of charge.
