NIGHT OF MUSEUMS is an annual event dedicated to the International Day of Museums. St. Petersburg’s museums, large and small, traditionally open their doors to visitors in the evening and all night long in honor of this event. The museums prepare a special program that follows like this: a daylong special exhibition, concerts, performances, author tours, master classes, and historical reenactment.

In 2012, the Night of the Museums will be held in the evening of May 19th to the late hours of the night on May 20th.
