Tea and Coffee Festival

The IV International Tea & Coffee Festival has kicked off in St. Petersburg and will last till August 28. Visitors will have the chance to taste and buy tea, coffee, sweets and honey from India, Iran, Pakistan, China, Africa, Middle East, Latin America and the CIS. The festival will also feature its traditional international competition "Tea and Coffee" and also the competition Narodny Kapteysting (People Cuptasting).

During the 3-day festival, dance, music, and arts groups will participate in an international Arts competition "MirArt" under the categories: Chaynoe Derevo (Tea Tree), kipyat'OK (boil'OK) and Zavarka. Guests and visitors will be able vote for their favorite team. There will also be contests, quizzes, prizes, gifts, and lots of entertainments for children.

The museum "Universe of Water" will entertain guests with their interesting programs. A young team from the Children's Environmental Center of St. Petersburg Water Canal will be on hand to perform. At the Water Canal pavilion, adults and children will learn about unique bioindicators such as crayfish, fishes and snails, they will hold their own chemical experiments, try their strength in captivating quizzes.

The Moskovskaya Ploshchad of St. Petersburg is the venue of the festival. The festival site will be open from 10 am to 10 pm daily till August 28.
