A Solar Eclipse will happen on March 20

In St. Petersburg, the Moon's shadow will eclipse around two-thirds of the sun. The total eclipse can be observed in the North Atlantic, the Arctic and in Svalbard.

The best place to be able to see the solar eclipse is in Murmansk where people will be able to see around 87% of the eclipse. In St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk, Arkhangelsk, people will be able to see the eclipse, but it will be much smaller and less noticeable.

The eclipse will take up about an hour of the day in St. Petersburg on March 20, 2015. The whole astronomical performance will last about two hours: first, the Moon will eclipse the sun, and then will go to the side. But observation, of course, will only be possible on a clear day.
