St Petersburg Brings the “Guest Card” to Russia!

St Petersburg Guest Card

St Petersburg has become the first Russian city to offer tourists with the “St Petersburg Guest Card”. This card is a unified e-card for tourists and is similar to European travel programs operating in many cities around the world.

This tourist e-card starting from August 2011 will be designed for 7 days. This card will offer you discounts of 10% to 50% when staying in hotels that are members of the program, travelling by taxi, on public transport “Podoroshnik”, visiting cultural, entertainment centers, cafes and restaurants, city excursions on “City Tur” buses and water excursions. The base price will include a small number of journeys by public transport. Tourists will also be able to add necessary amount of money for additional travel. A children's “Guest Card” will also be released at the same time and it will be twice as cheap.

The card includes guided tours, entrances to public museums without waiting in line. Besides, with the card you can visit the Hermitage, the Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Russian Museum (including the Stroganov and marble palaces, the Engineer's Castle), the Savior on Blood, Smolny Cathedral, Museum-Preserve “Pavlovsk” and other museums in the city. In the near future, the state museums-reserves “Tsarskoe Selo”, “Gatchina”, museum of the history of Kronstadt and the Anna Akhmatova Museum will be included in the program.
