The Tenth Petrojazz Festival: July 18th and 19th 2014

The Tenth Petrojazz Festival: July 18th and 19th 2014

The festival was founded in 2003 and since then has become a favorite event for many residents of St. Petersburg. On the stages of this event were such legends of the jazz world as: Marcus Miller, Dave Weckl, Maceo Parker, Jan Akkerman, Igor Butman and many others.

In 2014, the festival will find new strength and new breath: two scenes at the same time, 8 hours of music a day, jazz stars such as: Pee Wee Ellis (UK) - the founder of the "funk" style and co-author of James Brown hits; the most prominent French saxophonist Celine Bonacina; as well as many talented musicians from Denmark, Poland, Moscow and St. Petersburg.

White nights, live outdoor concerts, shiny surface of the Neva, all of this is the "Petrojazz Festival." The festival will take place at the Peter and Paul Fortress.

Starting at 15.00. Entrance - free.

Petrojazz Festival will take place July 18-19, starting at 3 pm, and for the first time in ten years will be completely free.
