Owners of Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the city of Saint Petersburg and bikers from Russia and abroad are hosting a grand motorcycle festival in the northern capital of Russia. The festival is supported by the Government of St Petersburg and personally by Governor Valentina Matvienko.

A motoparad will be held today, June 25.

The parade route will pass through the city’s main streets: from Palace Square (Dvortsovaya Ploshchad) to Victory Square (Ploschad Pobedy) and to Krestovsky Island. There will also be motocross along Nevsky Prospekt, and other major cities of St. Petersburg. The Palace Square will be the final point of the motocross, and it is here that all the other major events of the day will be held.

A centralized guarded parking for motorcycles will be arranged for participants of the festival. Motorcyclists who will need to cross the Russian border will be offered a simplified regime for its passage and issuance of all customs documents. Festival guests from other cities and countries will be assisted with accommodation in hotels located within walking distance from the parking for motorcycles.
At least 1500 people on motorcycles are expected at the festival.

Those willing will be able to take part in excursions to the most interesting historical suburbs of St.Petersburg - Peterhof, Pushkin, Pavlovsk, Tsarskoe Selo, Oranienbaum. You can get there on your own bike, or by reserved boats, buses and cars.

June 26 will be the last day of the festival.
