Direct flights from Saint Petersburg to the U.S.

The company "Northern Capital Gateway" which runs the Pulkovo International Airport in Saint Petersburg  are in close contact  with two major  American carriers Delta Airlines and American Airlines  discussing about starting direct flights from Saint Petersburg to the U.S.

Mr. Yaroslav Zubilov , the director of the government cooperation and public relations at Northern Capital  Gateway, stated that they are negotiating with American and Delta Airlines about direct flights from Pulkovo to New York and Atlanta. The two U.S cities were chosen because New York is a popular destination  and Atlanta’s Airport is the busiest hub in the world. Currently  the figures and traffic numbers  are being shown  Mr. Zubilov stated. The company is planing  to have flights several times a week.
