Park Pobedy plans to build a year-round outdoor swimming pool

In a green area near the metro station Victory Park (Russian: Park Pobedy), a project will be started to install an outdoor swimming pool, which will be equipped with a heating system and be able to work all year round.

The authorities of St. Petersburg turned to a company from Finland that has experience building similar facilities in their own country. This project can be implemented on the basis of one of the existing ponds in Park Pobedi. This will require it to be dried out, and then build and install the heating system. This estimated project will cost around 600 million rubles.
