Exhibition of Paintings by Monet of the Beyeler Fondation


In the vastness of the Winter Palace, St. Petersburg art lovers will be able to see the works of the French painter - genius and founder of Impressionis - Claude Monet. 

The exhibition will include three iconic paintings, filled with a sense of aesthetics and the elusive game of bright colors, from the Beyeler Fondation. Which pictures will appear is not certain yet. However, most likely, it will be: "The Japanese Bridge", "Rouen Cathedral" and the canvas from the series "Water Lilies."

It is worth noting that at this point in the collection of the State Hermitage includes eight paintings of the famous genius impressionism. This room is known as the "Hall of Monet." It is located on the third floor of the Winter Palace. Here St. Petersburg residents and guests can see the works such as: "The Lady in the Garden", "Waterloo Bridge", "Corner of the Garden at Montgeron" and "Pond at Montgeron." 

The exhibition will be from May 21 to September 13
