Canadian Visa Now Granted for 10 Years

Soon it will be possible to get a Canadian visa for 10 years! Canada has changed its system for one-entry visas and instead will offer multi-entry visas for 10 years. 

The visa will be good for 10 years but you can only stay a maximum of 6 months during one visit. 

The Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration of Canada has introduced new rules for the issuance and validity of visas. On February 6, 2014, the ministry revoked the one entry visa and instead will issue a ten-year, multi-entry visa with the possibility of being in the country for up to six months per visit. 

All applications for a single entry visa, which were filed prior to the visa changes, will be considered as single entry visa applications. This was done so that the ministry can attract more tourists to Canada.
