In St. Petersburg it is possible to see a Tree of Love! After the reconstruction of the Opochinin garden (сад Опочинина) was completed, someone planted a “tree of love”. The tree has small red leaves to create a heart shape. Now the lovers have a new tradition and place to bind their love unions. There is a lock and chest at the bottom of the tree in which you can put your little love union note or something else special inside.
