ОХОТНИЧЬЯ ИЗБА (OKHOTNICHYA IZBA) is one of the top restaurants serving Russian cuisine, and the name is certainly appropriate. The wooden walls of the "log", so finely decorated with animal skins as trophies, together with the Russian traditional oven create a cozy warm atmosphere and bring you back in time. The restaurant is well known for its wide variety of game meat and well prepared seasoned meat (bear, hare, elk, deer, etc.). The menu includes 15 kinds of shish kebab (Russian: шашлык, pronounced "shashlyk") cooked on the glass brazier right in the dining hall, and much more.
